(DUBLIN – April 27th, 2021) – We have some great news! Brickfield Education Labs are officially partnering with Moodle, the most popular learning management system in the world! This collaboration with Moodle will improve accessibility in course content to reduce barriers and maximise learning opportunities for all learners.

Moodle LMS the platform is WCAG 2.1 AA compliant from their recent audit. However, the way in which users create materials and upload content also has an impact on their accessibility. This partnership provides organisations and education institutions using Moodle with a toolkit to assess and improve their content. The Brickfield Accessibility Toolkit will find, fix and future-proof content accessibility within Moodle courses.

The one day event is for organisations looking to improve their understanding of digital content accessibility and seeking help in addressing their existing challenges. The programme will consist of a mix of short, practical workshops. It will also include presentations from accessibility specialists. It is set to go ahead in late June with registration opening the first week of May.
