Accessibility means ensuring that everyone can access and use digital content, regardless of their ability. When creators consider accessibility from the start, they remove barriers that prevent people from participating fully in education and work. Good spacing is a simple but powerful part of that.
Notice how the lines crowd into each other.
Tight line spacing makes lines of text appear to merge visually, forcing the eye to work harder to distinguish one line from the next. WCAG recommends a minimum line height of 1.5× the font size. People with low vision or dyslexia are particularly affected.
